Jacqueline Fernandez had confirmed her involvement in Race 3, alongside Salman Khan, a while ago.
Firstpost had also earlier reported that Sidharth Malhotra might be joining the cast of the action thriller, as the makers are looking for a fresh face with Khan. However, according to a bollywoodhungama.com, apart from Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapur is also in final talks with producer Ramesh Taurani for a role in the film.
The two actors have not had an exceptional year at the box office. While Malhotra’s A Gentleman bombed at the box office, Kapur’s Ok Jaanu also failed to leave an impression.
The report suggests that in order to turn the tables in their favour, the two are hoping to get cast alongside Khan’s, in roles that would otherwise be underwhelming considering their star power.
Demanding a remuneration much lesser than what they usually command in the market, both the actors are staggering under the pressure of delivering a hit. However, despite the conjectures, there is no official word of confirmation on these developments.
An inside source also revealed to the publication that Taurani himself does not feel the need to have another male actor alongside Khan.
Mumbai: Actor Aditya Roy Kapoor, who is known for essaying romantic roles on screen, says his first heartbreak happened when he was in the 9th standard.
“My first break up happened when I was in standard 9th. I remember being very lost and for me it was like the end of the world and I will never find another girl. Then I think after I passed my exams and I was fine,” Aditya told IANS.
The actor, who stars alongside Katrina Kaif in director Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor, also reminisced about his first date.
“My first date was when I was in school. I remember I took her out and we had sandwiches because I didn’t have any money but it was fun,” the Aashiqui 2 actor recalled.
The actor who has a huge fan following, especially women, recalls one of the craziest things a fan ever did for him.
“I remember post the release of Aashiqui 2 there was a girl from Kolkata who was waiting outside my building for six days and that’s crazy. She should have just called me, I would have gone and met her,” Aditya said.
About Fitoor, an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel Great Expectations, he said: “It’s a beautiful project. I have loved Abhishek Kapoor’s film. The way he has adapted the film it’s beautiful.”
New Delhi: It was shopping time for Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif. The actors, who are in the national capital to promote their forthcoming film Fitoor, went on a shopping spree here.
The actors went to the street shopping hub Janpath market in the capital on Saturday afternoon, and picked up some knick-knacks for each other.
According to a source, the actors got a window from their busy schedule, and they made sure they made the most of it.
It is a well-known fact that Katrina splashed colours of red to her tresses for the role as Firdaus in the film. And it seems that she was channelling her character during the shopping sojourn with her clothes.
The actress looked ravishing in a printed red jumpsuit, while Aditya sported a casual look. Aditya helped Katrina select earrings and bangles.
They even gifted each other. Katrina bought a smart stole for Aditya, while he picked up earrings for her.
The on-screen couple will be seen romancing in the Abhishek Kapoor-directorial, which will hit the screens on February 12.
