Are you in a relationship? Do you hate it? And if you hate it, do you endlessly (over two whole films) crib about it to your friends? No, right? Because normal, mature human beings just break-up if a relationship becomes unbearably taxing on their mental health. This goes for both sexes.
But Bollywood has actively discouraged normal behaviour for years. So now, they have made a movie, that too a second time, about a bunch of guys cribbing about their horrible girlfriends, instead of just breaking up and thus not having to crib about it.
The trailer of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 is out and shows three friends who are sick of their girlfriends and crib about it to each other. The trailer also reduces women to stereotypical nagging girlfriends and nothing more. The girls in the trailer love 50 shades of pink, crib about their boyfriends and shop. Their biggest dilemma is why their boyfriends’ relationship status on Facebook says single.
The trailer has the intellectual depth of a bumper sticker, and one fails to understand why these people continue with their miserable relationships if it’s such a pain.
Apart from that, the three guys dole out some ‘gyaani baba‘ relationship advice and expert opinion on women, which, sane people are advised by the author, to stay clear from. And while you’re doing that, maybe even stay clear of the movie.
The movie comes out on 16 October, 2015.
